Narragansett Bay Rendezvous - July 14 & 15 in Bristol, RI. - Thanks to our Secretary & Treasurer, Barb & Tony Weatherford for organizing the event.  Below is a not from Tony.

The following tentative plans are being made for this weekend:

Moorings: $25/night; Slips: $2/foot ($1.85/ft. for 2-6 nights) Bristol Marine 401-253-2200 Launch service available from Bristol Marine to town docks

Meal Plans:

Saturday breakfast being planned

Saturday cocktail reception/dinner at J.G. Goffs Pub (balcony deck)

Sunday brunch at J.G. Goffs Pub

(J.G. Goffs' owner, Steve Cleary welcomes anyone to use his 90 foot dinghy dock as he is a friend) You won't believe the view from the balcony deck overlooking the harbor. Next to J.G. Goffs is the new Bristol Harbor Inn/Conference Center which opens June 1 so this is becoming a fantastic harbor destination.

Saturday afternoon: Herreshoff museum tour

If you haven't been to Bristol Harbor lately, the town is undergoing a renaissance with a lots of waterfront building, new restaurants, and new shops. The town is now dinghy friendly with J.G. Goffs Pub new 90 foot dinghy dock and slips.

The first fifteen Moody owner/members who register will receive a new cruising burgee.

Cost: Cheaper than you think! I am finishing the meal plans and within two weeks will have the per person price.

We want this to be the best rendezvous yet so make sure that you sail, drive, walk, or crawl to Bristol Harbor.
